Looks good Graeme,
Did you just loose the rear section and connect with the piece of flexy pipe?
-
Yea just cut it off after the axle bend found the flexi pipe works better for routing it around then a bit of stainless steel pipe at the end so it looks nice
-
Hmmm,
I've been thinking about doing something like that for a while myself.
Does it sound any different?
-
Yea but mine is a v8 so it now has a nice low rumble :(shades):
-
Nice job.
Funny i was looking at mine yesterday, wondering how to bend a piece of pipe and fit it through the side panel.
Regards
wizard

Now...I wonder if I could modify all 4 of my tailpipes to come out of either side....

Just get some stright through yank side pipes like on the corbras. Then give it a gently rev next to a chav in his 1.1 nover and watch his car fall to pieces  8)
Or have a chat with his little landy modding firm they may just be able to help you. this is what there little one sounds like

Top job mate, I like it.
Where did you get the flexi pipe from?
Stu.
-
Its from a firm called "ces" (chester exhurst surpplies) they have depos all over the place. iirc it was £20 for a 10 foot lenght
-
Nice job mate does it rattle? mine is at the min carn't seem to stop it
-
No rattle it fits nice and tight into the hole and the pipe clears all the metal at the back.
-
done a nice job of that!
-
I suspect it may be the body rattling on the pipe not the pipe rattling on the body so to speek  .
Look good mate
-
Thanks.
FOund the body mount on mine had broke were it joins the rear mud flap bracket to the body work. Stuck i nice big selftapper in so think that could course a rattle
-
Tomo, are you mikes mate by any chance? If so what a strange coincidence.
I'll have to find a branch of CES near to me or pop into chester when i'm next going to wales.

I emailed him yesterday to ask how he was getting on with his side exit project, he mailed back to say he wasnt, had sold the motor to his mate who was going to have a crack at it.
Then your post appeared and I thought.....No Way....
