Title: Are Fuel Prices Falling Again?
Post by: Bush Tucker Man on July 10, 2007, 09:02:29
Around here diesel seems to vary from 95.9p/litre up to 97.9p/litre dependant on the provider.

However I was in Doncaster last Saturday on my way to Robin Hood Airport (the old RAF Finningley)
Whilst heading out of the city past the race-course along the (old) route of the Great North Road, now the A638, I passed a couple that were selling at 93.5!!

Sadly I was in SWMBO's 'works van' & we'd filled it up at Ferrybridge Services.
To my astonishment it was priced at 99.9p
(thankfully she has a fuel-card, and given the time (05:15) I didn't know if I'd find any open in Doncaster)

So, out of curiosity, what are the prices in 'your neck of the woods'??

Yesterday though, I noticed that Sainsburys (in Wakefield) was selling diesel at 93.9p/litre
(& the 110's now about half-full, after yesterdays travellings, so I'll be nipping down there later today)

It can be as low as 94.9 around here at the moment, but also what I have noticed is that diesel is now very often the same price as petrol

Its at times like this I realise I haven't had to put any fuel in the V8 (or any other car for that matter) for about a month now and i still have half a tank. :D

Seriously, i can't remeber what price it is round worcester or telford areas.
