Title: James Mays 20th Century
Post by: Bush Tucker Man on July 10, 2007, 09:25:45
Tuesday
BBC2
20:00 - 21:00
(two episodes this evening)

Ought to be an interesting series & worth viewing?, a more staid version of Clarksons 'Inventions That Changed The World'?

Details (http://www.bbc.co.uk/bbctwo/listings/programme.shtml?day=today&service_id=4224&filename=20070710/20070710_2000_4224_15192_30)

Found it funny, when he went to touch the satalite and got told off.

Then asked to add a bit, and was told he had no chance.
So he played with a box of bolts that are used instead.

Slapped hands for May

I don't believe I've seen any programme before that went up to the 'door to space' (bar the actual NASA footage of the events)

Did anyone else notice that no weeds, or grass, appeared to be growing in the 'Flame Pit'?

Yep. They were good programmes. Wasn't too sure about him presenting on his own, but it worked just fine.

Just 35 years between the DH Rapide and the 747   It's something you just don't think about until it's presented to you!
