Just put springs and shocks on first. then go from there. Some disco's dont need anything done to the steering.

I had blue springs (bearmach I think) with pro comp shocks. Had no problems.

Its still in aldershot if you want to see it.

Agreed i went with a set of Yellow springs and ES9000's, no problems at all. I will put some longer brake hoses on it before it goes serious offroding though

It depends what you want the 2" lift to do, if its just to improve departure and break over angles then just a set of lift springs will do that. If you want to increase your articulation then the Gwyn Lweis challenge kit does very nicely taking you turther than typical +2 damper setups will whalst still using the standard bumpstops.

For various reasons I got the springs first and fitted then running them for a while before deciding on the gwyn lewis setup, which can be used with pritty much any springs. You don't have to do it all at once.
