After 5 mins smoke and flames from inside the truck!!!!

There's one for HSE and Trading Standards. I smell a product recall. don't take it back to the supermarket they'll give you a refund and carry on selling em.

TAKE IT BACK immediately or call trading standards!

Call trading standards.I got one of these at the bootsale a few months ago for recharging the water extinguisher I use as a portable jetwash and it went the same way. Caught it before I nuked the aux power connector in the back tankfully.

I borrowed a similar tyre inflator off a neighbour. It wouldnt quiet reach my caravan tyres so I put a ciggy lighter extension cable in. the pump started well then got slower and slower. I went in the disco and smelt burning and the extension was very warm. oops.

I had one of these before i bought the tmax one i now have. It does say on the box, do not run for more than 8-10 mins. It certainly wouldnt touch my 33 12.5 16's. Got taken up the tip after the first try. Best left to topping up the kids footballs. :)

The thing is it wasn't on long and does say 300psi cant thinkof any kids foot ball taking that kind of pressure. There's also a picture of a car tyre on the box. :?
-
I also bought a T Max one, about £100 but it does my 35's from flat in literally a couple of minutes, a worth while purchase.

200-300psi is what gas cylinders are pressured to (50ltr cylinders), knock the valve off one and it will go straight through a house (without using doors or windows).
Cant see a tiny compressor like that reaching 300psi  .

who watched top gear? if u did you would see that the icelanders have the right way of inflating a tyre, fill it with lighter fluid  and light it around the rim, i no you dont think it works but by top gear it deffinetly does!!!!!
