-
There's no minimum age, but the insurance companies can make it very difficult.

Is that your own policy or are you on someone else's as last i understood nfu would not insure under 21's? well they would for £4000 LOL so in other words they didn't want to. At least that was the case when rang up for a quote, but liam is insured on his mums disco with NFU and that is cheap as chips.
-
Sometimes it pays being an old fart, £102 f/c on an excempt l/w, limited to 3k miles a year, I can live with that :)
As this is a second vehicle it makes a difference too
-
yes that is my own policy... i was amazed too! i even told them it had a engine transplant (they did not believe that it was a D reg with a 200TDi in it) "they never made a D reg with a 200TDi" he said... so i had to tell em!
still i was chuffed!

hay guys,
just to let you know that when i wanted to get a 4x4 i had to wait for 2 years b4 i could get one,
nobody wanted to know and all insurance companies said the same, you must be driving for 2 years and then you may get a 4x4,
mark :D

Thats very odd, NFU state when you contact them that they wont insure someone under 25 unless a parent has a policy with them already?

when my bro wanted to be insured on mums 52 plate 90 he needed to be 19 with a years driving. thats direct line mind.
when i started driving mum and dad were with NFU, and they didnt like me being on te policy as they didnt really insure any one under 25
-
from what i have read they dont insure anyone under 25 unless your parent(s) already are insured with them.
