Has anyone fit Good Year G90 tyres to their Disco? I searched for G90 here in Mud Club and it seems they aren't highly thought of (weak sidewalls, poor traction). It looks like I may have to get a lift to fit them, and if I'd have to go to all that expense, I may as well go with BFG Muds.
Thoughts?

Good tyre in the mud, very dodgy on wet tarmac, worse than most tyres Ive ever driven on, they are on all the wolves at work and you wont hear a good word for em when road driving...... mine were very good off road, apart from clogging in the mud... but i will definately be sticking with my Goodyear MTR's from now on
Cheers Steve

Helen ('SleeplessParadise' (http://forums.mud-club.com/profile.php?mode=viewprofile&u=2147) & Johnty (her hubby) had a set on their 200Tdi 'toy'
Contact them for an opinion.
I think Helen also has a set on her 90 Td5

Mmmmmm, not good tyres - my boss embarrassed every WOLF in the fleet by turning up in road tyred disco and beating them all at the off-circuit on Catterick Training area.
Like above, they are total crap in the wet and are probably the cause of many a bent wolf - there are loads of dead ones out there that I reckon would still be around if they were fitted with ZXLs.........
Plus they wont fit without a pretty substantial lift........
