For those of you that wonder what its all about I thought I'd share. Its pretty much what it says really, there are are few of us that are on there on a daily basis and theres almost always someone around at any given time. Yes some of us really do have NO life :) Its also a good place to try for that urgent question or find an admin/mod.
If you decide to come and chat you'll get given a name like Mud000, if you want to change this all you need do is type
/nick newname
In the chat window, it makes it easier if people use forum names. Live chat can also be a little more risque at times. Usmurf will great you as you join, its generally not a good idea to try and talk to him ;)
As for what goes on, well, here are a few random quotes I'll add to from time to time.
So our First quote for this thread:
<Evilgoat> is there anything to be worried about when exterminating wing-mirror spiders?
<drutt> yes
<drutt> the car will stop working

Well they wont get Mud000 though will they Evilgoat

You can also download a chat program like mIRC or Trillian to get on. The server you want is irc.smoothwall.org and the channel is #mud-club. Most of us regulars on there do it this way, more reliable than the web page.
Beast - might be a firewall thing if you have one, possibly being blocked by the windows firewall.
Gtomo - I thought you did use a client :)

If you run antivirus software for example Avast, ( Like I do) You have to add the Ip address to its exception folder.
You will then login a lot quicker..
