Title: just serviced the disco

well its quiet at the moment so yesterday i fitted the
EGR blanking plate i bought off ebay in march

today i changed the oil, oil filter fuel fiter and air filter
and greased the props

only 4500 miles since last full service but it seems to run better
the accelerator is more responsive dont know if it accelerates any quicker as i drive like an old f*rt

or could this just be the feel good factor from the blanking plate and fresh oil????

Blanking off the EGR will make it feel quicker, have you tried tweeking the fuel pump yet, this makes a massive difference (both to acceleration and climate change!! :lol: )

How difficult is tweaking the pump?  My mate was pleased that your disco smokes as much as his!  :D

when i have time i will tweak the pump but at the mo i am happy plodding along
