Your looking at £50-£60, well, thats how much I got quoted, or have I been ripped off?

It'd be best to take both off actually... being a v6 you wouldn't want different compression on one side to the other would you!!!

I paid £80 to have both heads off my v8 skimmed a few months ago. I took them off and stripped all the valves off myself, then reassembled them again myself afterwards..

I pay £20 a head for the V8 as they take a bit of setting up.  Hoping it will be the same for the TDi as it looks like it's cooked after a rad failure.
