Been there today to get meself a new land rover and i swear to go its put me off land rover main dealers for life.
The fella i was seeing was not only misinformed about everything, he also lied as well as just making me as a buyer feel small and inferior.
I told him this as i left and plan to write a letter to the person in charge tomorrow.
So those of you in the very north west who use motability, avoid!!!

My father in law had a similar experience with them - went to order a new sport - the chap was very nice until he found out the order was to include Landrover employee discount.
He then went on a rant about how they don't make any money on those sales blah , blah and basically said that he didn't want that type of custom
So it sounds like the same chap to me :roll:

That's utter cack as they do make money on the sale, they get a guaranteed cut from LR, just like they would if they were selling a Ford to an employee.
Business is business. If you want to get a good deal go inn at the end of the month, especially a week month. I was once offered a brand new Renault at cost if I took it that day :wink:

Well i have some good news, i bought a car today, not a land rover, but a hynudai terrecan 2.9 CRTD.
I got it from the same dealer i got both me previous motability cars from and also got it for £1000 less than book price as well as a full warranty until 2009 :D
Its a nice little motor, so will see what its like at the billing weekend!
