Hi guys, just after a bit of initial advice.
Have spotted a rather old and sorry looking 90 parked up in an industrial estate. Don’t think that it’s been moved for a while due to the amount of grass growing around the wheels.
If I could find who it belongs to, and depending on price, I’m tinkering with the idea of maybe doing it up and putting it back on the road.
I haven’t had a good look, just passing glances as I drove by.
I don’t have a fitted workshop, and have never welded before, but have helped a mate restore a lightweight.
So, is this a project that would be relativity easy, or is it a case of ‘just walk on by’!!! :-k :-k :-k :-k

It's an old 90 and it's been laid up for a reason,it will have rot and loads of oil leaks, with an MOT it would be probably be worth a grandish,it's got to be cheap.

Did a quick check with the Reg no. It was manufactured in 1987, but first registered in 1997. It has a 2.5 Ltr petrol engine, painted light green with bonnet latches and headlight protectors.
Does this sound like an ex-military Landrover?

just sounds like an old 90 to me... but to be honest, you cant ever say its going to be an easy job, land rovers never are. "is it worth it" really depends on the answer to "do i want it"
