I have a jackall. Had it 5 or more years and haven't had a problem with it. It due a service. Replace the spring ect.

The orignal Hi'lift is the best to have(thats what i use)I did look at the T max ones before but settled on the hi'lift.Plus most 4x4 shops sell spares for them repair kit's etc..
Having said that ive seen the cheaper one's been used just as well as the orignal

HI-LIFT

Get a Hi-Lift
Not much more expensive than a farm jack if you buy from here
http://www.paddockspares.com/scp/SHOP_BY_BRAND_A-H/Hi_Lift_Jacks.html
But you'll have peace of mind that you have a quality product.

Bigblue - what you planning on jacking on?

Not really for the mav as such but for general use on the farm and for dire emergency winching
-
has to be a Hi-Lift then! All the proper gear can be got to suit the hi-lift from winching equipment to log splitters

Friends got a cheap one and it stuck like hell making it a pain to use untill it had worn the paint of the mechanisms. This compares to my genuine Hi lift that worked faultlessly from new only needing occaional lubrication.

Hi-Lift, more accessories than any other brand, reliable and well made.
I would have a proper Jackall but the adapters are different and there's only really one available anyway.
I've used my Hi-lift for winching and still carry the winch kit as a back-up.
