Does anyone have an idea of the costs involved? parts etc.

Lots of time, blood sweat and tears.
You could just buy a kit and bolt it in, but to do it yourself is pretty tough, and you have to be confident in your fabrication and design skills. Its very easy to get it very wrong(Thats from experience)
Read up on suspension design, Use search on Pirate4x4.com for LOTS of design information.

im now on my 2nd coil project regarding suzuki's learnt alot of what not to do the 1st time round i didn't really have big dangerous problems just lots of annoying little problems now ive learnt from my experiances these will hopefully be avoided this time round.
