Have a nice cd player in at the mo but when on lanes it jumps so i tend to use radio or Nowt. Thing is can get standard tape deck from scrap man for cheap. Good idea?

Get an mp3 player that plays a memory card or stick. Thats what I had in my last truck. Its got nothing to jump or wear out, so it doesent mind what you do to it. Stick 30 albums on an 2Gb SD card and away you go.

I agree with Rolla........ you can pick them up from here (http://svp.co.uk/products-solo.php?pid=2301&prepg=) for under £50 It's what we use in all our vehicles now

I don't like having any music on when laning, I keep the window open and listen for any scraping or knocking, plus since doing a tight lane in Kendal I still haven't got an aeriel!!

We have two....... not those particualr ones but we paid that sort of money and we have had them well over 12 months with no problems with them. I do have a freeview hd recorder made by the company in my clicky and that has been going for 2 or 3 years now with no problems so I would recommend the brand

....lost mine to a low branch whilst laning too.
Mp3 players are the answer- 10,000 tracks on my ipod and still only half full.
