Very nice :D Love 8) the colour as it sets it off nicely

Nice bit of kit mate

Simon. Did you get fed up with the Jeepclub or the jeep?
BTW have you seen michelle lately?
cheers
Pete.

Hi Pete.
Certainly didn’t get fed up with the Jeep, just that I seemed to be the only one down here (not much fun playing by your self!!). Didn’t renew my Jeep Club membership because I couldn’t really see where my £30 was going (why pay when you can get it free here). Went back to Michelle’s place a few times to play (err…….it’s not what it sounds like!), but haven’t seen them for a while. All my neighbours have Landrover’s (freelander, lightweight), so I felt a little left out! But now we can repair them together!!!!!!
So how’s life up there then?
-
Not too bad.
I sold my jeep back in may I think, it was getting a bit to rusty even for me :) I've got a v8 disco now but i've been having one problem after another with it.
It's not all bad as the parts are just rediculously cheap :D
I haven't been doin any froadin, i'm still trying to resist the temptation to do some serious mods though. 8) especially as i've found a very local site that has some proper mud! The last time I went it was so slippery that even the guys with 35" swampers were having trouble, as I recall the recoverys were being undertaken by a d90 with tractor tyres on.
Anyway, have fun with your new toy, it does look the buisiness BTW
cheers.
Pete.

So you defected too then!!!!! V8, the way to go! I had a discovery V8 a while back, a great machine. Unfortunately I had to use it for work, and when your putting in £70 worth of fuel a week, the novelty soon wears off! That’s what persuaded me too was the cheep price of parts. Jeep prices where just getting ridiculous, especially for any aftermarket gear.

Give it time!!!
Have fun, and maybe see you at one of the LR shows \:D/
Simon
PS: Does this mean I have to change my user name!!!!!
-
Don't change your user name on my account, if you like it keep it I don't think anyone is going to care.
