Title: sold my bike
Post by: woody on August 17, 2007, 23:40:31
well i sold my zzr 600 last week and have been looking for a replacement
ever since i have been checking out eblag and auto trader
trying to find me a cheep commuter as i do about 150 miles a week
but it seems cheap = rubbish
and every idiot and his dog seems to be bidding on something
so i am sat here with withdrawal symtoms
if its this bad after selling my bike how bad does it get when someone sells a land rover ( or other make of 4x4)

i had the zzr 1100 for a little while , just before the 9......but although it was quick in a straight ine and i could have ridden it around the world 18 times without getting off ( too comfy )i missed the excitement  of touching my ear on the ground ( i can dream )

so what you thinking of going for then???? a cruiser

I had a gap of 6 years without a bike, believe me it gets bad, bikes are in your blood, When summer time comes around and your sitting in a traffic jam windows down and you hear those race cans burbling from half a mile away.

It hurts your soul.

I have no problems with mine cornering whilst scrapping the pegs. once you set up the suspension they stick like any other race bike.

I'd never part with mine and it's 9 yrs old now.

 :D
