Post by: Xtremeteam on December 29, 2004, 14:30:54
on christmas day whilst  every1 else was tucking in to there crimbo dinner i was out side lyining on the ground trying to replace the clutch slave cylinder i knackered at drumclog bout 3 weeks ago so i could compete in the boxin day bash/auto test with slroc.
after spending most of the day trying to hook the daft plastic clip that holds the pin in 2 the clutch fork back on after the pin fell out when i removed the old slave cylinder i was a bit stressed & cold & had dirt in my eyes so Mr Holesaw made an appearance again,
time taken up to the point where the holesaw came out the cupboard 3 hrs
time taken after the holesaw incident 20 min

duck tape, cable ties and silicone sealer

a good idea , drill holes all over your motor like that, just imagine how much easier some jobs will be! .......and how much lighter it would be too.

I did read about a guy on AFL that used a plasma cutter to gain access to a disco or rangie bellhousing.
Didn't fancy it myself.
an inspection cover would be nice though.
