Title: How about this for a lift
Post by: crazymac on August 21, 2007, 19:50:19: I've just returned from a trip to Virginia, which is a haven for Landrovers, but I found this American make in a walmart car park. The owner told me that all in it was an 18 1/2 inch lift!! The wheel and tyre package was $110 each (how cheep!) and its had a complete engine rebuild of the 8.5litre V8 petrol, that is pushing out more than 450BHP (not a lot really for the size of engine)
AAAAAAAAGGGGGGHHHHHHH won't let me upload the photos as they are too big 205 and 207 but the max is 75!!!

I don't think it would notice a kerb TBH I think it would eat mud and with 2 double axles each side it might even float on water. :lol:

Money disposal unit :) Neighbour had one and loved it, nice car but itd been back 14 times under warranty when I moved back here. Like a lot of the US 4x4 its fine till you go off road then bits start breaking.

Remeber seeing an F150 lifted like that but had stock 15" rims with road tyres. looked stupid and unsafe.

The driver assured me at was really stable on the road, and amazing in straight mud runs, not quite so good in narrower technical places but thats not what he likes to do, he prefers the mud!!

It had a double steering damper system, one each side, and the props all had uprated joints that allowed full articulation and castor correction as required. it had really positive steering not like some he had driven!
