Another few daft questions (a few hours is a dangerous thing)!
Was thing about making the doors a little more secure on the 90. Thought about those van locks that you see……….then it dawned on me, what’s stopping somebody just unscrewing the door hinge screws!!!
How can you lock-off a winch (XD9000i), to stop people pulling the cable out?
Why do people say “Good Morning, Good Afternoon, & Good Evening†when greeting each other, but never “Good Night

Simplest one that ower neighbours use on their hilux is to instal multiple large, hairy, sharp teethed muts that will bark at anyone who comes evan remotly close.

it would probably be easier to crow bar the door open than unscrew the door hinges on a older defender

On the 101, which had locks you couldn't lock from the outside  , I put a padlock & hasp on each of the front doors. To be fair, with the fittings I used you could have drilled out a pair of rivets and got in within a few seconds. However, because it LOOKED like it was very secure, people often commented on it.
I was going to make a comment about how easy it is to get into a certain model of 4x4 using basically any piece of metal, but given this is a public forum I'm not going to.

Or slightly less supicious is to use any random car key instead and that was on a mid 90s version.
