Title: Ideas regarding making an exhaust fit...
Post by: Steven on August 22, 2007, 22:53:19
Hi everyone,

Bought a straight through exhaust middle part, got told it was a straight fitment to your stoke ehaust system, just measured it and its too short by a couple of inches. How can we get sround this? Could I use some flexi pipe in between the straight through and where it joins on the rear box section? Thanks in advance.

Can you losen the clamps on the rear section an slide it back enough for it too fit?

If it's the wrong one then take it back and get the correct one.
I've seen a few of these for TD5 Discos, make sure it's not one of these and is built for a 300 series.

I wonder why!  :?

In that case then try your local exhaust fitters and see if they can come up with a suggestion. They may have some scrap pipe laying around that will do the job.
