And what difference do TD5 headlights make, from owning a few they are still crap!
-
there not sealed beams and they look ace and there brighter pics will be here soon 90s on its way home
-
He has a point, they are actually better than the old sealded beam jobbies.
No, seriously, I know it's hard to belive but they were actually an improvement! I mean the SBs couldn't get a lot worse!

she back still lots to do as the previous owner has bodged the wireing so ians had to tidy it all up and make it safe
-
pretty much any halogen lamps are better than the sealed beams...i use crystal halogen ones with a plain beam pattern, they seem to be excellent for the cost (i paid £25/pair inc bulbs)
as for bodged wiring...my offroader seems to have been wired up to be permanent live for everything (eg the heater and everything works with the ignition off  )
looking forward to seeing pics matty :)
-
I changed my SB's to halogen, but I keep knackering them due to the deep water stuff we do, so I have gone back to sealed beams.

But you can get halogen sealed beams now anyway.
drill holes in the bottom...and remember to switch the headlamps off before wading...(i managed to explode the bulbs in both headlamps once by driving into 3ft of water after having had main beam on for a few hours hehe  )
(i use roof lights for wading at night)

Come on Matty where's the pics?
