Give Neil at Green Oval (http://search.stores.ebay.co.uk/Green-Oval-Landrover_land-rover-110_W0QQftsZ2QQsaselZ93880801QQsatitleZlandQ20roverQ20110QQsofpZ0) a call. He only has his Defender ones listed at the moment but I'm sure that sorting out a Disco set won't be a problem for him.

They are very good quality, and race proven. Not just by me but by people that are really trying

best place for HD steering bars?

In the scrap skip

team mates 90 was running summo bars at the TFC at the wknd,
bent the track bar & now with it bing HD we couldnt straighten it,

gave up in the end & cut a slot in it to allow us to bend it straight & then mig it back together

My 90 managed all weekend on standard bars & a "proper" guard (southdown axle guard)

HD steering bar or HD bash plate which protects the steering damper as well?  Been wondering which to fit as my damper has seen some damage recently.

The steering damper can be taken care of quite easily on discos and RRC by relocting from the track rod/diff to the drag link/chassis like the steering dampers on defenders.

Challenger also sells the relocation kits for the steering damper also :)

Mikeeee, your mate must had been going some to do that!!!

bent loads of standard bars and fitted my sumo ones 3 years ago and have no problems since.

I  heard that you are more likely with them fitted to snap a track rod end but havent seen any evidence of  that.

mine came from nene valley tyres for about £80, but i think they are the same as the paddock ones.
