Colway muds 8)
just fitted the second set since buying the car can't fault them :D
-
Not sure, what do trac-edges quailify as?
-
:D I knew I would be in the minority with Wrangler HPs 195/55!
-
1. Bronco M/T's on my old 110Tdi (after replacing the Avon Rangemasters at almost 60,000miles)
2. Colway A/T's on the 50th Anniversary, covered almost 30,000miles whilst it was in my custody & were great
3. BF Goodrich A/T's on the 'Heritage', still going 9very) strong at 62,000miles
Will probably be replaced with the Bronco 'Grip-Edge', or General Grabber MT's (if I can find any when the time comes)
Although, I saw a set of Bridgestone MT's on a Mitsubishi 'Warrior' the other day& they looked a decent tyre
Does anyone run them & can comment??
-
I'm running Falken A/T's for on/off road at the min, but am looking for an other set of wheels for some M/T's for off road & if we get snow

I'm on my 2nd set, wear is not as good as some but they are a very tough tyre and handle most situations very well except thick mud. Only £67 + vat aswell.

Thanks Jim, I'll look into it, & try to photograph the tyres to confirm they're the same

I'm just greedy :D
Firestone SATs for the grass&mud and throwing clods of dirt
BFG MT for the greenlaning (used to be pay and play as well)
Interco Super swamper LTB for when I've got the archs sorted
and I've lost count how many 205 all terrains (about 14 between 3 RRC) which go a lot better on the road.
-
I didn't know you could still get sat's or are they older ones. If not old where did you get em?
-
i voted extreme terrain
i just like the poor handling and the excessive road noise!

I don't think you can get Firestone SATs anymore, but there is a company advertises in the magazines that produces the same pattern (as a remould) on a radial carcass.
They're still a very aggresive looking tyre & really look 'the biz' on a Series, or early 90
-
Their the rearly deal but I got them second hand of a friend who only sold them as we was getting fedimas. Its a pity they stopped making SATs and a pitty they didn't make them in bigger sizes like 9.00x16 or 8.25x16 either.
The lugs are more angled than on simex ET tyres, the outer lugs being more akin to tractor tyres.
