Has anybody got any experience of this conversion?
I've just bought a 110 with this engine fitted and, performance wise, it's great. I'm trying to understand the in's and out's of the conversion, though, to see where it differs from a Land Rover engine :?

Does it need the twin snorks darren?

Frank Elson (the 'LRM'columnist) had one in 'PKV', his old 110 Station Wagon & swore by it

IIRC the Womble has replied elseware about PKV ;-)

Yeah, I know about Frank, thanks. I wondered if anybody else had one.

No, the drivers side one isn't connected to anything. I think the guy who put it together intended to connect both to the engine but it's very much an unfinished project and this is one of the unfinished bits.
I'm going to take it off and fit the proper grill.

Lest see some pics of the engine!!
I know that Frogs Island used to offer this conversion and a company called ADI (I think), and at the time it was reported to go well.
AFAIK a lot if Iveco's also use the Bosch VE injector pump (as per the Tdi) so is very tuneable!!

Oooh, that's really useful info - there's a Frogs Island sticker in the back window! I'll think I'll give them a ring...
I'll sort a picture out later.

Is your air intake on the drivers side?
I'm moving house at the end of next week, then going to Abingdon the weekend after, so I probably won't do anythign to it until after then. I'll let you know when I remove it, though.

Hmm, Frogs don't have a record of it, which is a shame. Ho hum.
Managed to find a pic of the engine bay:

No, neither side, but the drivers side is far less cluttered on the inside and easier to sort with a length of ducting.
Moving far, or still near my SWTSMBO's freinds?
Not urgent, just another tuit!
Niel.

No, not far. Just to a bigger house :D
