Has anyone else seen the feature in 'LRW' & wondered where MudStuff (http://www.mudstuff.co.uk/aboutus.html) got their lgo from
Can Tim sue over for Copyright?
Look at the 'Register' page, there's a list of 'MUD' plates.
It looks like it's run by (or on behalf of) the Balwdins, Kevin writes for 'LRW' & owns the Discovery Commercial 'K3 MUD'

i seen that aswel,at first i thought it was a mud-club product
-
are you referring to the splat?
its not quite the same and besides.. its not a competing club is it?
-
As the 'Highlander' said "there can only be one"

To be honest the links listed under the heading Recommended Land Rover Resources is a little incomplete, I would like to see mud club listed but maybe we are not on the list of Mr Baldwins friends.
-
Maybe they don't know about us.... off you go chaps !
-
Copyright is a weird thing, just had to do aload for my stuff.
On the one hand imitation is the highest form of flattery....
Could be a geniune concept on their part, - mud and landrovers is an obvious concept
...but their site is a bussiness, and not knowing it's reputation, is it one that the 'mudclub' would want to be assiociated with - however tenious the link.
....Or worse case senario, maybe they would want us to change as maybe they have been around longer - who knows?
It's a tricky one, guess a decission will have to be made as to how (if at all) to handle this
Helen - who is possibly over reacting, but has also been up to me neck in copyright and contracts recently and it's a nightmare sorting it
-
I don't think it needs to be "handled" at all to be honest, I don't think BTM's comments were meant to be serious ;-)
-
Did wonder
Like i said, just had to sort out alot for my stuff, had solicitors involved etc and it all of a sudden got very serious.... was a fun couple of weeks (not).

Now if we'd called ourselves the Roadrunner club then you could expect a letter from Warner bros solicitors.
