Mine are 235/85 and only just rub on a 2" lift.

i got 245/70/16

just a little oversized, so you keep some good acceleration, and is more than capable off road

theyre general grabber AT2 btw   8)

My 2 cents is try and go for 32" diameter tyres like 235/85r16 or 265/75r16 if you can, that way you won't ground out in all the ruts made by defenders that tend to be on 32" tyres. It makes so much more of pay/play sites easily accesible, though you will always find some ruts made by bigger tyres.

Muddy

Might depend on your offset...I've got 265/75/16s on mine, and the bodywork was fouling even on-road if you went up a kerb or actully found a bit of "axle twisting" tarmac...for example a country lane joining another at a junction on a hill...it was that bad!    The lockstops did not need adjusting either...

I then got those tyres put on my original alloys and have had no problems since even with some greenlaning...however do need to cut back a bit for proper off roading, and I have lost a teeny bit of lock (not that makes any difference though)

Incidentally, the Disco drove like a sack of s*** on the road on the mods, and as soon as the offset was back to designed spec, it felt just fine again.

And looks the badger's nadgers on big tyres!
