Title: Door frame repairs?
Post by: spy on September 14, 2007, 00:46:09
My latest landy has a rotten nearside bottom door frame.  Has anyone repaired one with box section or am I better to just buy a second hand door from ebay etc?

You can get repair sections for the bottom. I need to do mine soon, as there is little left of the bottom of the frames.
Whole doors seem to fetch alot of money, even second hand ones.

I cent seem to find the repair bits for the frame anywhere?  I was going to measure up and possibly call in at the steel stockholders tomorrow to see if I could get some similar box section.  Do you know where to get the frame bits from?

Cheers,

Mike

Depends on the door, Mini restoration specialists are good people to ask as they do this sort of repair regularly!
