Very busy in the Summer months, used to stay a couple of miles out of St Austell during the Summer near a place called Pentewan. Nice little town, lovely area, but as said, busy in Summer!

That's all I can say I'm afraid ;) Oh, and watch out for the Ooh Arr Aye!

Hello,

Iv just moved there with my wife who is originally from Cornwall who has lots of local family/friends.

I am lucky in that we have a farm (which helps justify the freelander and now a series 3) and  I lve in the middle of nowhere near camborne.

The main thing to look out for is that the employment situation in Cornwall is not great, the wages are low and Cornwall gets EU funding because of it.  My old job was IT project manager, in Gloucestershire I got about 5 jobs a day that come up on high salaries on my job alters, in Cornwall its less than 5 a month and the jobs are much lower level.  So if you have a job makes sure its as safe is any job can be these days.  Also if you have an other half then think about their job. They are lots of low paid jobs but very seasonal etc.

Property prices are not as bad as people make out (compaired to Gloucestershire any way) Obviouslt a 3 bed house right by the sea will be expensive, but then inland properties can be fairly sensible.

I have a nice landrover parts dealer just down the road!

Now I jsut need to find a green lane gang to hang around with.

Cornwall is a really nice place.

I have family in Truro, and friends in Lanner, Perranwell, Falmouth, St austell, Fowey and many other places.

And it is a really beautiful and idyllic place to live.
