hi my devil duck arrived today does he need initiation of any sorts and where does he have to reside in my disco ????? :D
-
Has to be taken offroad within a week to work properly.
Most sit on the dash, then they can watcha s you drive round and give evil stares to your neighbours cat!
-
preferably the centre of the dash so he can equal protection both side...... Jim willy will tell you it's no good having him off to one side cos he will only protect that side then and if he doesn't have a proper view he may not like it
-
he is on the dash and seems happy enough but my dog doesnt like him being in the disco when shes not lol
-
Wait a minute am I missing something...... What is protection by the devil duck, Obviously it looks after your truck but where ever did you guys find it?? :?
-
Devil ducks can be found all over but mainly on ebay  or the Duck of York :)
-
So would you reccomend that all land rover drivers should invest in one? :)
-
if you want protection you must have one
-
Oh yes a must have for any 4x4 driver

Do you think it'll still protect us if we mount it in middle of the light bar? Because I heard there quite picky where there situated :?
-
steven he might prefer the warmth of the cab over the coming months..
however if its a down pour tthen hed be right @ home...
-
2 of the little blighters found me. One resides in the amber lightbar on the roof, and his brother resides on top of my CB in the middle of the dash
-
my 2 found me ...they fell out of a full jcb bucket of soil ,i dont know how long they had been buried for :?:
-
Well mine had better hurry up & find me, i'm off to marocco in the truck in 2 weeks time and i'm feeling like he should probably be coming with me!!!
-
This thread has prompted me to get around to ordering one (well, two actually). Thank you.
Just an idea... is anybody tempted to order up some mud-club-branded ducks and sell them on? I'd buy one 8)
-
i just bought a pirate devil duck as well im goin mad lol
-
I like the glow in the dark devil duck!! Had me in stiches this morning looking on the duc of york, think i must be mad to cos i could quite easily have bought loads!!!
-
they have to draw you in some how tinks!
we have:
a normal red duck
a rare pirate duck
a super rare invisable duck
i coulda brought soooo many more!
-
I'm gonna be good, i think to myself i would definatly rather spend the money on something other than rubber ducks for my landrover!! Winch bumper, new rear cross member wiv winch tray & a cage then when i'm feeling rich again i might invest in some more ducks.
Having said this my evil duck is now in the post on his way to me!! Can you give them names or will he not like that??
-
you have to name them my 2 are called damien and percy lol
-
Mine has arrived this morning!! Just in time for MOT day!! lol
Any suggestions for a name ??
-
place it on the dashboard and the name will come to you.... If it's "Dusty" then you have other issues
-
 Its more likely to bu muddy that comes to mind when i look at my dash than dusty!!
-
'Howard' was named by Hampshire Constabulary when he went to give evidence (dont ask)
-
I will have to transplant my two ducks over the winter. The 110 is going and they will have to be moved to the 90. Are there any special procedures that need carrying out? Or will they need councilling after the trauma of a transplant? The bit that worries me most is prising them off the dash without causing major injury to their nether regions!

Chrispin arrived today - an Invisible duck. Made the mistake of giving him a bath before sitting in the RR. Now he's not so invisible as he's got some condensation issues :D
He seems happy enough and kind of merges in with the car. He was happy to sit on the Dash with his horns resting against the windscreen - no further attachment requires. I think he thinks the bonnet is a big zambeasi silver invisible lake
