Title: Number Plate Fixing
Post by: BigSi on October 04, 2007, 08:25:37
Just out of interest, who sells the number plate fixing bracket that allows you to fix it onto the winch fairlead (between the bumper and the fairlead)? As on Ray Mears Land Rover.  :-k  :-k  :-k  :-k

I made my own, I used 2 spring c clips from Wilkos ( they call then tool clips) fastened them to the number plate and it just clips onto the roller fairlead.I went all the way to Sweden and back and did nt lose it ,all for less than a quid..

I used adhesive Velcro tape on the one on the trailer it's been on for 3 years and it still works fine. Not sure how well it'd stand up to been soaked and covered in mud though
