Just out of interest, who sells the number plate fixing bracket that allows you to fix it onto the winch fairlead (between the bumper and the fairlead)? As on Ray Mears Land Rover. :-k :-k :-k :-k

I made my own, I used 2 spring c clips from Wilkos ( they call then tool clips) fastened them to the number plate and it just clips onto the roller fairlead.I went all the way to Sweden and back and did nt lose it ,all for less than a quid..

I beleive Ray Mears has 3 Land Rover products, including his personally spec'd 110 8)
As for nuber plates. I have one stuck on the bonnet :twisted:

I just stuck mine to the front of the winch carrier above the hawse using some No Nails Tape.

I used adhesive Velcro tape on the one on the trailer it's been on for 3 years and it still works fine. Not sure how well it'd stand up to been soaked and covered in mud though

(although I will let you into a secret)...it's on the passenger sun visor....It's there when I want it to be !!

I loosend the bolts on the fairlead, slid the plate in behind and tightend the bolts back up.

Found some chequer plate, so decided to have a go. A few hours later and some black smooth Hammerite…it was made! Just unbolted the roller fairlead and bolted it between using the same bolts. 8) 8) 8) 8)
