Title: In a moment of weakness...
Post by: Elmo on October 06, 2007, 19:12:39
I bought a 110!

"Bessie" (so named because she is big fat & ugly) was apparently owned by Trailmasters at one point, I believe until 2001. She is a pre-Defender 110 with a normally aspirated 2.5 diesel in her, not the most rapid of things ;)

However she's great fun to drive, the day after I bought her we took her to Abingdon 4x4 show and took her round the offroad course twice. Towed out of one depression (combination of driver error and AT tyres got us stuck) and parted company with the front number plate but otherwise very pleased with her performance.

Sooooo be ready for a barrage of numpty questions :)

What is it about landys that often one is not enough?
