Title: Ever Lent Your Landy to a Non Landy Owner?
Post by: annabelle on October 10, 2007, 19:32:09: :lol: Found this amusing today, my husband let his foreman borrow the 110 double cab today, he thought my hubby knew loads of people around Northants, every other green oval was waving at him! He was impressed until the unique phenomena called the "Landy wave" was explained to him!

I even got a comment, while sat at some lights, from the passenger of a spolier bedecked Saxo say "Wicked car, nah wot I min?", to which I happened to reply with "First off, I think you are saying you like the car, which is good, whereas your car is a pile of crap, and I don't like it ". The supercharger was then used. :twisted:

Post by: Lord Shagg-Pyle on October 10, 2007, 22:10:00: It was a rather nice feeling, but I'm very glad I wasn't picking up the fuel bill! Its the whine from the supercharger that really does it though. It really comes on full chat when you get past 70mph, alledgedly, so I've been told :wink:
Saying that, the new Freelander 2's don't hang around either.
