i just buy the cheap Ring lamps and use the 55watt bulbs that come with em, they work perfectly well, nice and bright and a bout a £10 a pair 8)

I agree with Jon, we have 4 common road runners which are great at 11pm at night in the middle of Derbyshire country side 8)

Oh and how could I forget, Hellas! There so bright on the bull bar that we can't use them on the road! Very clear and crystal aswell.

They have been fine but then again, we don't do an awfull lot of offroading, but if anything would be lot of fording which they've been fine.
Also there solid things!
I like the side light built in to them for normal road use. 8)

youve all suprised me, there gonna go on the roof on front of a rack we are gonna do, so not worried about them getting smashed, plus i want really clear bright light, and keep looking at those ipf lightforce things, but not sure they really are worth paying that much dough for.
ring 55w i have about 100 boxes of them, and have always used them, and they are fine, but i want bright bright with good range, and just fancy something a bit flash for once.
cheers

I had four 9" Wipac 100w on the cab of Beast. They were very bright, never got any water in. But did keep losing the covers. :)

In that case why not PIAA 80pro not the cost of Lightforce but probably as good a light, H4 bulbs, so switchable beam patterns, or Cibies Turinis, both are mega lights and bth are pretty big but ultimately for good lights you need big round reflectors. I've got 4 Turinis to go on the front of mine but I', putting a line of older Lucas 20/20s across the roof, not sure how many, depends how they fit 4 or maybe 6 we'll have to see.

i had a pair of wipac 100's on the front of me old paj, i thought they were crap, the covers seemed to take the brightness away

How about the Procomp lamps? as seen here on the Explorer website. (http://www.explorerprocomp.co.uk/acatalog/LightsAccesories_LightsSwitches.html)
-
had a look at you link, the procomps look good value for money, is there any inf on those piaa anywhere, but must admit, ive got it in my head on 4 of those lightforce, 2 x fixed beam xgt or something for range, and 2x adjustable beam to flood in front of the car.
but keep all suggestions coming as open to any ideas at the mo.

KC daylighters.......
They are so good, I don't want fit them to my motor !!!!
There is no room to be fair, 4 IPF spots across the cage is enough...
You only need LOADS of lights, if you lead a dull life remember
-
i will need the flippin sun at that rate then! :D

I'm a huge fan of X Engineering products...
But everytime I have seen these lights on a truck, they have been pointing skywards
Ok, if you want the birds thinking it's morning
