I love the idea. Gets the point across. But the irony is that the hazard they've built doesn't look like it'd stop an Austin Metro!

I got the evils from one of the staff in there when i parked our mud plastered 110 in the car park there to go and enquire about something!

I brought a new motor off 'em recently and they were gob-smacked when I got on the floor to have a look underneath it !

Its a nice Idea, but with a few friends we found this much better Land Rover car park in Wales.

Hey, it was a 'good' car, until the crank shaft pulley wheel came off on the way home from work after midnight, in the middle of winter...I didn't stop to find out what had fallen off at 60mph, the charging light and temperature gauge told me all I needed to know, and I drove home the last 10 miles with dimming lights and boiling rad...I did get home too!
It was pretty reasonable off-road, and in snow too, the only downside was the fact that it was an allegro and used about as much oil as it did unleaded.
I always had crappy cars for commuting to work, the column change Renault 16 was pretty dire, I even once had a Ford Escort Mk2 1.3 Estate Automatic, now that was crap! Took it away on holiday after I bought it, after a week in Cornwall it had a blowing exhaust and it became apparent that only one of the four road wheels had brakes that worked, brake fluid was leaking everywhere!
When people start complaining about things going wrong on a Landy I tend to think they have lived a rose tinted existence, or having had a new car every three years they must have different standards.
BAOR issue a drip tray for all Land Rovers and 4x4's operating in Germany, that has to tell you something!
