It's not so much the spraying or labour, but the cost of the paint used.

I had my bonnet resprayed last year and that cost me £170. The paint was the biggest chunk of the cost being metallic.

So it all depends what you want it sprayed with.

Materials as well as the labour.

It's all in the preperation. If you get a cheap job then they are likely to cut corners with the preperation as materials.

Can't tell you how much it would be though sorry.

Well thats the cheap way of doing it. Endless supply of paint for me, but I wanted the showroom finish and for it to match the exsisting paintwork, which it did.

Depends on what finish you want, a pro finish for a whole motor I would say £1000 +.

If you can prep it yourself so it just needs blowing over with a spray gun - not too much

I've got to respray bits of hubbs' 90 (when it's back together :roll: ) as the previous owner had taken transfers off that took the paint with it.The original colour was white as;

But some edjit did a rough and ready black re-do. Which is why the paint came off with the transfers ... DOH! ](*,)
Also, the replacements for the van sides are a bluey colour.
Have threatened hubbs that if it costs too much, he'll just have to have a multi-coloured motor

Nimrods are a kind of beigey gray colour depending on where they do most of their flying. The beige ones - desert livery - look pink in certain lights!
Take a look at the different one's here http://www.fas.org/irp/world/uk/program/nimrod_mr2.htm

Simon says the official colour is Hemp :?

And the reason they are a pinkish colour is? So that they cant be seen coming over the horizon.

Just bought 2 litres of paint to do the bonnet and a few other bits as I replace them (the paint matched better if it's mixed in large quantities) and I got a shock!
The Celulose I'm hoing to do Julies Capri in is £13 a litre, solid colour so not too bad.
Metallic, like say silver, is about £18 a litre plus 13 a litre for ready mixed laquer.
Pearlescent, are you sitting down? £39 a litre plus the laquer!
I thought long and hard about respraying the whole car midnight blue (non-metallic)!

Hi. As a rough guide you should expect to pay around £100 per panel at a reputable paint shop inclusive of materials and labour. I recently paid £350 for a bonnet, pair of wings and bumper to be painted with clear over base. As stated before it is the material costs that will be the biggest chunk of your cash.
