Hi thrasher,
Didnt want to hijack the bonnet pin thread, but noticed on one of your pics what looked like a winch remote socket next to the bonnet pin, is that so? do you just pop the bonnet plug the winch in and close the bonnet?
been wondering where to put the remote socket for my winch.

Ah ... no - it's actually my winch cut off :) As we are all aware you shouldn't drive with the winch energised. So my winch won't go until the key is placed in the cut off.
Not a bad idea to put a remote socket there too there .... hmmmmm

see if you can get a warn solenoid, got one from ebay for about 25 quid. i have an aircraft switch on the dash. the winch is dead till i throw the switch, saves getting out if you have a WB on board

I had one of those - it isolated my engine one time to many so I disconnected it. It's in the garage somewhere....

hmmmm, see if you can find it....
