Title: What pressures muds on a 110?
Post by: Elmo on October 20, 2007, 15:59:21
I have 4 265/75/16 BFG muds on steel rims on the way to me from t'interweb (D44), just wondering what a reasonable compromise pressure for tarmac and mud would be?

Vehicle is a 110CSW 2.5D nothing exceptionally heavy bolted to it and I don't tow.

Advice anyone?

I run mine 36 on front, 38 rear when empty & 40 front, 42 rear when laden or towing
Just can't wear the BFG Mud Terrains out either  :D

When I got my first set, the advice I got (via a friend) from the BFG importer, was to run the at about 5psi above standard. So usually run 35psi front 45psi rear, increasing rear to 50 when towing the other car about. Seems to work pretty well for me, even tyre wear and >50k miles per set of tyres.
