Title: What Bargains did you get at the Sod?

i got loads too. i got a roof lining for a 90 for Â£60
i got a maglite torch for Â£12 (big one :D)
i got light guards really heavy duty ones for Â£25

Bought a set of 4 from Old Sod last year. Â£225 plus Â£100 back home to have them blasted and coated in gloss black.

Mine are therefore, Â£365 for a full mint set of 5. Craddocks are Â£105 +Vat (x5) plus postage or Â£617 plus postage.

Post by: MudRat on October 20, 2007, 20:22:13: Bought a set of rear seats and a 110 roof rack for Â£70 in the waiting zone bit, sold em for Â£170 when we got inside! Got a complete TD5 dash with centre pod and switches for Â£30, chrome windoe wipers Â£10, what a fab day and made Â£450 as well selling loads of crud sitting in the garage!!

Post by: muddyjames on October 21, 2007, 20:19:00: After being there from 10:30 to rush in and find a decent 200tdi bumper it took me until the very last few minutes to find a decent bumper but with 1 end cap. :twisted: Â£20. Down from Â£30 though. It has no ounce of rust on it though which is good.

Also got a caravan clamp on bracket for a stabiliser and a bracket for the car (bull dog type leaf spring jobby) all for Â£10. I think the guy thought I wanted the stabilser too but I have that in me shed! Could have sold the stabiliser on ebay but I couldnt be bothered.

Got 2 alloy rims for a disco 1 for nothing. Not quiet a bargain though. they were mine all along which a mate had them as he took the tyres off as he wanted them so just returning them to me :lol:

I also was a witness to the accident on the mian road entrance. It shook me up just watching it :shock: :?

I also got 2 cornish pasties off the home made pastie stall.

Was cheaper than I had planned but I did plan to hopefully find a heavy duty bumper. I think ebay may have to start playing a role in my life :lol:

Was a bit dissapointed though TBH, there seemed to be a lot of 'rubbish' stalls selling tat compared to the last one.

Still, getting a steering guard was nice.....put my first ding in it today as well........

Post by: adafish on October 21, 2007, 22:02:30: brought a un-finished tax-exempt S3 V8, new chass, and bulkhead and running gear..which also had set of 5 mods and new XCL's on them for Â£450....also a lightbar, steering and track rod bar from Kenson, a tool set of the tool man, from Â£120 to Â£50, a dixon-bate droplate Â£40 (new), swingway Â£45, bag of assorted nuts n bolts

disco grey cubby box Â£10
td5 defender seat box Â£40

Think that was about it :shock:
