Anyone know how long a 110 is with a winch attached to the front, looking at getting a defender this year but need to know if I can park it on my drive  or major problem of getting it around to the drive (which is at rear of house)

Overall length is 4438mm or 174.7" according to the brouchour :)
I imagine winch size's vary from model to model
As for getting round the back of your place, the min turning radius is 23'6" but feal's like 40' :?

might end up with a 90, as looks like 110 might be a bit long. just got to keep eyes open for a good one :)

u can squeeze a 110 most places a 90 goes

Except a 4m parking space. ;-)

I've got a garage and locked compound at back of house but to get to it the access road is only just over a cars width, can only back into compound unless bloke behind has moved his car, and can't swing in the swb series in one go but PS might help
Oh and the girlfriend will have to be able to reverse into the space too :) she can get the freebie in but makes me cringe some times watching her :?

Go for the 90 then, we only got the 110 because of 2 kid's & 4 dog's,
My wife make's me cringe with her parking in supermarket car park's in the 110, the lack of steering lock is a pain but the only commlaint she has.
I have driven all kind's upto 7.5 ton's at work & the 110 has to have one of the worst steering lock's iv driven.

Parking can be a bit fun sometimes, but I've never really had too much of a problem with, some gates are a bit on the 'interesting' side of samll though.
Where abouts are you based in Northants?

If you park up against a brick wall, you can always box in the brickwork, and tell the other half its a wall bench on the inside and rain cover for the cat on the outside, then the winch unit would slot into it
