Wonder if anyone remembers this or can help me track one down.
A friend of mine remembers, as a child, seeing a half size range rover in the Hamleys Toy Store in Birmingham - this was probably around 20 years ago.
It was basically a proper car with all working bits, but half sized.
Anyone got any ideas as to who made these? Apparantley you could buy a caravan for it as well!!
Thanks in advance.

Not too sure about this one, but the factory did make several driveable scale models for 'favoured' VIP's children.
Not too long ago one of the magzines featured a Series 2 that had been made for a foreign Prince.
Or the famous Aston Martin that Prince Charles had as a boy?
Rebel Replicas (http://www.rebelreplicas.net/) produce a Range Rover, but that's battery powered.
The caravans were generally built in the late 60's'/early 70's as publicity gimmick for the showrooms - a dealer on the southern edge of Huddersfield still has one.
Harrods (as well as Hamleys; London) used to have them.
I'll ask on T&T if you're interested.

Thanks, well the Rangie was in a posh childrens toy shop and I dont imagine that it was exactly mass-produced nor would it have been very affordable.
Just quite intested to see if any pictures or specs exist really and any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
