Title: anti pop up software

has anyone got any good suggestions for software to stop pop ups appearing they are driving me mad at the mo

Firefox is also my browser of choice, very popular now in the industry and is not venuerable to any hacks or trojans that exploit the usual Internet Explorer security holes.

I've been using FireFox recently, but it seems slow at times and a large number of sites don't work properly as the JavaScript is written with only Internet Explorer in mind :(

As suggested above, I've got the Google toolbar. It seems to stop most pop ups - even those that Win XP SP2 misses out on!

I use Linux and Mozilla

I dont beleive in Microsoft.

i use yahoo toolbar not had no probs yet and it has both popup stopper and anti-spy

Whilst I am also a fan of Firefox when using Windows... don't believe that it isn't vulnerable to hacks or trojans...  there are some about.

I've been using google for quite a while now, seems to block 99% of the rubbish
