Advice please on how to get the glue of my Landys rear window now that I have removed the stupid black film that some wally stuck on. I"ve tried turps, white spirit, surgical spirit but it just won't budge.
-
Acetone (nail varnish remover) might work.
-
try brake cleaner . . . if its an aerosol thy are very strong but stay away from plastics
sprayit on a rag n hold on there
-
WD40 ... honest :)
-
cellulose thinners mate, stinks a bit but gets that off, infact gets anything off.
-
and don't do like one of the plank's at work did and sat in vehicle with windows shut and proceded to use the thinners and wondred why he felt "weird"
-
I made a big mess once fitting window tint's  & luckly never done it since but I used petrol & it shifted all the glue & I had a smile on my face when I finished    because I got the glue off
-
WD40 & clean off with acetone :D
-
got to agree with SWEETY petrol works wonders gets every thing off he use it for cleaning the workshop floor,
or brake fluid and wash it off with petrol or brake cleaner
(but dont get it on your paint work)

I tried everything to get it off my window.
What actually shifted it was a nylon scouring pad and Isopropyl alcohol.
-
If the glue is hardened like a resin then I'd say a sharp razor blade seeing as it's glass.

Thanks for all the suggestions guys, I eventually got it off today with Hammerite thinners - fantastic stuff ! :)
