I'm thinking of selling my Nissan Navara and getting a disco. I've got about 7 grand to spend and would like to know what to look out for. LPG is going to be high on the list!

if ur going for a disco, why not go for a 300tdi, better fueling and can be run on veg oil...

whats purpose will you be using it for? on road or off road?

Mainly on road and some towing.  But I'm sure the local lanes will call soon enough!

V8 on LPG is the way to go.  You just cannot beat that V8 sound...................

The defender does sound like a good deal, but I'm likely to be doing some motorway miles mith a trailer so I'm after the creature comforts of a disco!

If you need to ask you can't afford it  :wink:  :lol:

around 14-15 on petrol and about 12.5 on gas which is roughly a 27mpg cost equivilent.

I did it the other way round got rid of the Disco and bought a Nissan Navara   :)

got to be a v8, its the law, well sort of, v8 anyway. mine also does 11-12mpg on lpg and thats proper driving not fairying about.

And i tell you wat a 90 with a nice set of seats in and the rear bulkhead removed is very comfortable! i'm 6f3 and Loads of lef room and the TD5 will sit happily at 70 / 80 no problem! also Resell on a 90 is fair better than a old disco!

I'm still not convinced about a 90. I still think that a disco is the way forward. Just noy at 12mpg  :shock: Guess it will have to be a TD5! Just looked at one this morning but the sales man said its not for sale cos the boss's wife wants to use it! Good sales technique!!!!
