We had a different sort of 'fire-works' as the Police arrested a very drunk woman who decided that they were to be the recipient of her pent up rage

We went to some friends sat on the balcony of their apartment drinking wine, watching the town firework display next to the castle with the local radio station playing music to accompany it.  :)

All I have to do is sit in my back garden with a ciggy and a can of beer and watch the recreation of the opening barrage for the Battle of the Somme that is currently going on around here.
As long as the local 'Chavalry' don't start to fire them at houses or animals, I'm not too fussed by it.

I was thinking about you from my perch on Portsdown Hill, hoping you wernt working tonight. I dreaded the week before and after.

Watching a few of the chavs trying to get into the position I was parked in was funny too :)
