anyone got some soft top pics of modified 90's, either Bikini truckcab or full tilt's, thinking of going down that route and getting rid of the csw roof..
cheers
-
Hi, I only have one pic of a 90 rag top..
Visit my websites front page !
www.gotmud.co.uk (which has just stopped workin for me)
-
Here's mine when just finished (don't look as clean now  )
-
Bikini truck cabs are very nice, i want one with a nice tuned TD5 :D
-
year i defo fancy going soft top with the 90, ive done it in the past with series and Hybrids ive had, although having a csw roof is handy for keeping stuff in the back safe and dry.
cant decide weather to go full tilt or truck cab. although the T/C is cheaper at about £340 and the full tilt at about £500 both include sticks etc
heres the 90 and a few of my old trucks
what do you lot think would suit my 90

I fitted a couple of polycarb sheets behind doors to keep mud and side rain out. This meant I could run it with the bikini roof all summer.

here's some cleaner ones

great pics steve, like your truck its cool with the Bikini and looks much better with the mach 5's and Simex. whats the second hoop a roll bar of sorts ?
as for the tools im not that bothered as i mainly use a Transit for work anyway. im defo going soft top probley full tilt for the winter and Bikini for the summer just got to decide with windows or without and what colour, was thinking maybe black although the sand looks pretty good..
other option is what i had on my Lightweight, a Bikini cab. its a Bikini roof but also has a back and sides same as a truckcab that roll up. i also had a torneou cover that fited to the roof at the bottom with press studs..

Looks cool 8) but wouldn't fancy messin' with all those poppers to take it off / put it on

Steve, how the hell did you get the soft-top to roll up so neatly? (see my photo to compare!!) & does it stay like that??
Jeff
-
Hi Jeff, yes it does stay up like that. Just rolled up both sides at the same time under tension. Might be difference in material as the canvas of my top was very stiff
Cheers

Some piccies, 4.6V8 Auto 90, want to fit a bikini or even just use at RTV with sides up but Club won't allow as ALRC bunch of morons - can have bikini on a S1 but not on a 90 even though I have LR part number for one. Grr
Get the soft top. buy 2nd hand military job as well (ebay) and either cut it for that Surrey top look (or carefully roll and fit under like I do) or for 75quid buy a bikini
Cheers
