It makes you wonder how people minds work!

Always someone cashing in on other peoples ms-fortune, I would like to see the seller passing all that cash onto the appeal fund.

At the end of the day, the original purchase price of the ticket will have a large portion of it going to the charity and after that it is just a case of supply and demand.

Would anyone complain about selling tickets to the FA Charity Shield (now Community Shield) on eBay?  Charity is charity at the end of the day so whats the difference?

Not wanting to offend anyone, just putting forward a different point of view.

i agree in one respect however the circumstances in which this concert is being run for is a bit more urgent and immediate than the other charities which have run for years

years is what the tsunami-affected people dont have

Most of those auctions do say that the proceeds are going to the charity.  Whilst I disapprove of anyone cashing in, there might be some genuine sellers amongst that lot who need to sell on tickets.

I think anyone who has gone out and bought tickets purely with a view to reselling them is a complete git...  but I think that about people who do it for any concert or event.

Once again though, as long as people are prepared to pay them, they will continue to thrive.

Maybe Ebay should only let payment be made by paypal (as they own that) then when the tickets are sold they can forward the cost of the ticket to the seller and send the rest to the appeal  :D

If they are a genuine seller then they won't mind and if they arn't then tough

nomatter what anyone thinks its just a part of life, do you really think the seller will pass the takings on to the appeal, (think not) its just someone with more forsight than me becouse i would have done exactly the same had i bought a ticket. at the end of the day the origional payment for for the ticket has been passed on to the relevant fund.

just think off all the people that will make a mint from all the money that is floating around in various "scams" and believe me there will be hundreds not everyone has strict ethicks or a conscience.some people wait for things like this to happen and then they take advantage of peoples good nature
although this is a tragic disaster and terrible loss of life at least for once its a natural disaster and not a man made one.
