Title: Pulling out a bull bar... !?
Post by: Steven on November 04, 2007, 10:32:26
Someone last night while we was shopping, pulled up in the space in front of us and stalled or something, just smacked in to us, reshaped his transit and pushed in one side of the bull bar on ours. How hard is it and how can I pull it out? I've tryed to tug it but theres no way I'm moving it a wee bit at all.  :?

get a piece of solid timber, that will fit behind, rope this to a tree/solid obect so it pulls straight..

get someone COMPETANT (most SWMBO will not be!) to watch carefully, as it will spring back a bit once load is removed..

position you vehicle carefully to consider where the "pivot" in the pull will be, ie, where the tubees are bent.. probably at the abar part.

good luck!
