Title: Mot Stations

Ok throwing the door open to the mud-club masive.
I need to get my disco mot'ed wednesday as i need it for work thursday had no luck with the local garages close to me Burton on trent, Swadlincote area of derbyshire. So anyone know of a garage i could try and see if i can get it in for the mot on wednesday.

Have you had any dealing's with them. Thinking £50 for a mot is steep.

Yes mate, always take mine there Rashid is a top bloke 01283 541851,
I know him well through being in the trade, he's done all our cars since 1996.

I just arrange to drop it off first thing and he rings me usually just after lunch

yea but last time i did that i got ripped off big time. So prefair somewere people have been before and wont rip me off. :wink:

£50 for an MOT is what VOSA say it should be, the £40 ones are being done at trade cost.

Try one of the BT Fleet garages. I use the one at Breightmet near Bolton and they are very fair. They aren't after any extra business so it if is a borderline pass they will tell you rather than fail it so that they can charge extra ££££'s so that they can book next years holiday :lol:

alans test centre in derby did mine a few weeks ago, and also my ibiza last month
they dont do any work on cars, so they are fair, and dont rip you off. 49 quid it was

I booked mine in today for tomorrow and the guys going to do it in his dinner hour so the wife won't have to take time off work .How goods that.
I can't believe no one round your way can get you in .
