just replaced both my front ones i used normal lm greese but you could use the gaphite type as your suposed to regreese regularly mine had never been tushed aslong as ive had it ( 1 year) so thats why mine went

You just need standard automotive grease, nothing special, what about the nipple on the slider that will need doing too

If you are off roading your Land Rover greasing the props is one of the most important and most regular maintenance jobs you do. I know it means you have to get underneath, but it is well worth the effort.
I use Castrol LM grease in the props and prop UJs.

Always remember to grease your UJ's when warm....., the grease goes to all four pots that way......, I use a hair dryer to warm mine

...on the subject of warm, always try to remember EXHAUSTS GET HOT and should NOT be used as crawling handles... unless its really chilly out!

I use JCB grease, but LM is fine.

Oooooops, someone learnt the hard way

Haha, I learn't that leason many years ago, also don't let your friends or helpers have access to the horn push button while you're under the car either.. .. especially when you have 2 air horns fitted
Well I'm off to do the job now, I'll post when it's done!

I also use JCB Blue grease...
its a bit thicker than normal LM grease, and is much better at repelling water...
